Todd G. Smith

Vice President & Controller

Mr. Smith is responsible for all accounting, reporting, tax and administrative matters for Lakeside Energy. 

Prior to joining Lakeside Energy in January 2009, Mr. Smith spent over 15 years in the private equity industry, including as CFO at Willis Stein & Partners and as CFO at Wind Point Partners. He began his career as an auditor and spent 6 years with KPMG Peat Marwick.

Mr. Smith is a Registered Certified Public Accountant and is a board member of the Midwest Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association.  Mr. Smith received an M.B.A. with Distinction from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a B.S. degree in Accountancy from Illinois State University.
