InEnTec Chemical LLC
InEnTec Chemical LLC was formed to build, own, and operate commercial scale Plasma Enhanced Melter (PEM™) gasification facilities that will convert byproducts, hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, and chemical residuals into useful products for the global chemical industry. PEM™ technology was invented to provide an efficient, cost competitive and environmentally superior process for converting a broad range of waste materials into useful products while avoiding the use of traditional incineration or hazardous waste landfills.
Using the Plasma Enhanced Melter™, InEnTec Chemical can transform industrial and hazardous chemical residuals into clean renewable products, such as high-purity chemicals, synthesis gas (syngas), hydrogen, ethanol or methanol, with minimal environmental impact and at competitive market costs. InEnTec Chemical’s systems outperform regulatory and environmental standards and come closer to 100% recycling than any other commercially available technology.
The Dow Chemical Midland Project
The first InEnTec Chemical project is operating at Dow Corning’s Midland, MI facility. The project recycles Dow Corning’s chlorinated organic residuals, a waste that comes from making silicon for solar panels and computer chips.
InEnTec Chemical plans to provide chemical waste recycling services to many of the top 25 chemical companies.
